 | STV Students raise money for Haiti!
STV Student Council sponsored an "Out of Uniform" Day on Tuesday, Jan. 26th. Students were encouraged to bring in 50 cents or more to help the people of Haiti. We collected $1330.80 in just one day. Great job students! | |
 | Registration for 2010 - 2011
We are currently registering students for the 2010 - 2011 school year. Children registering for Kindergarten must be 5 before 9/1/10. Preschool students must be of age (3 or 4 years old) before 9/1/10 and must be toilet trained. To register for school bring a copy of your child's birth certificate and the $100 registration fee to the school office. School Office hours are 7:30 am - 2:30 pm.  | MATH-A-THON
STV will be gearing up to participate in a Math-A-Thon on February 10th to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Math-a-thon not only supplements our existing math curriculum, but also teaches students the importance of helping others. Students get sponsors and then complete age-appropriate math problems. All donations are sent to St. Jude. This worthy cause provides us an educational opportunity to help others and be a hero in the fight against childhood cancer | |
 | 7th Grade Service Projects:Help for Those in Need
The 7th Grade Religion class Is collecting cards and goodies for soldiers in Afganistan. The students are asked to bring in one small item such as candy, jerky, batteries, gum,tictacs, playing cards, etc. This collection will end on Feb. 5th.
The second project is a "new or gently used" shoes and small toy drive for the children in Honduras. This collection will end on March 6th. | |
 | CROSS COUNTRY SKIING THIS WEEK
We will be cross country skiing this week. Gr. K, 2, 4, 6 & 8 will ski on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Gr. 1, 3, 5 & 7 will ski on Wed. Feb. 10. Please remember to come with snowpants, mittens and a hat! | |
